Requesting a Loan or Loan Extension 

Requesting a Loan

1. Navigate and login to 4help.vt.edu
2. Select "Service Catalog" at the top of the page.
3. Select "All Services A-Z"
4. Click the letter "C" or scroll down to the "C" section and then select "College of Engineering Equipment Loaning"(Users must be logged in to see this option)
5. Select "Request this Service"
6. On the left hand side of the page, click "Loan Equipment"
7. Read the Loaner Agreement that is on the page.
8. If you agree, select "I Agree", this acts as your signature.
9. Select "Add to Cart" for the Item you are requesting (Laptop Computer, etc.)
10. Keep Quantity as "1" and click "Request Loan"
11. You will receive an email that your request has been submitted.

Requesting a Loan Extension

1. Navigate and login to 4help.vt.edu
2. Select "Service Catalog" at the top of the page.
3. Select "All Services A-Z"
4. Click the letter "C" or scroll down to the "C" section and then select "College of Engineering Equipment Loaning" (Users must be logged in to see this option)
5. Select "Request this Service"
6. On the left hand side of the page, click "Loaned Equipment"
7. Click "Request Extension" for the equipment you would like to extend.
