The SWAT Office is currently closed for Thanksgiving break. We will reopen on Monday, November 30, 2009.


Important Message for Students deciding to install Windows 7:

Windows 7 is currently not supported by the College of Engineering. All engineering students should refrain from installing Windows 7 on their primary tablet until it has been approved by the college. Approval is anticipated to occur before the 2010 Fall semester. SWAT will not be available to help students who are not running a supported operating system (Windows XP or Windows Vista).

There are NO upgrade paths from Windows XP (any version) to Windows 7. You should know how to reinstall all your drivers and software before attempting to install Windows 7.



In order to save you a trip out to Torgersen, we have compiled a number of software installation instructions as well as known problem fixes. Before contacting us or coming into our offices, check them out on the left!

The SWAT Team assists students in the College of Engineering with software installation, operating system installation, driver issues, hardware problems and networking issues.
